LPN - PRN New

DescriptionJob Details:For our PRN, LPN position, we're looking at someone to provide at least 5 days of availability per month and work at least 2 of those 5 days, including one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) IF NEEDED by the facility to assist in medication pass and emergencies during our 12-hour nights. Pay differential is included.

Pay: $40-$43 an hour + shift differentials

Physical setting: Clinic/Corrections
Shifts: 5am - 5pm / 12pm - 12am / 5pm - 5am

Schedule:
Week 1: Mon-Tues-Fri -Sat
Week 2: Sun-Wed-Thur

Work every other weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun)
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient settings.
• Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care to meet those needs.
• Perform nursing assessments and interventions to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatments in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provide excellent care!

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequirements:

• Valid LPN license in the state of OG
• 1 year experience as an LPN preferred
• Active BLS from either the AHA or ARC
• Ability to pass a background check
• BLS Certification
